Our thermal engineering services
Finding the right thermal solution starts with a thorough analysis of the application. We look at the technical requirements and constraints, as well as budget, timing, and production location, for example. We can assist with selecting the right (combination of) cooling techniques, thermal simulations, prototyping, and, of course, delivering the best total solution.

Passive cooling technologies
Heat sinks - standard and tailor-made
When choosing a heat sink, shape, airspeed, and materials used are important factors that determine cooling efficiency. In addition to standard solutions, we realize many customer-specific solutions because they often deliver the best price-performance ratio. Through our own production and partners, we offer various materials and production methods.

Thermal interfaces
Thermal interfaces are essential to achieve maximum thermal coupling between a component and the cooling element, as they fill air gaps and ensure uniform heat transfer. Interface materials can also play a role in absorbing mechanical stress. We offer various solutions including gap fillers, electrically insulating, and electrically conductive interfaces.
Heat pipes & vapor chambers
In cases of hotspots or insufficient space directly at the object to be cooled, heat pipes and vapor chambers can be a solution. Heat pipes are ideal for transferring heat within electronics from point A to point B. A heat pipe does not require additional energy to dissipate heat as is the case with a fan. A vapor chamber is a type of heat pipe, consisting of a flat, hollow, box-shaped space filled with liquid. Our WHITEPAPER HEAT PIPES delves deeper into the operation and possibilities.

Active cooling
Fans and air filters
Fans and filters play a crucial role in cooling electronic components. Fans create an airflow over the object to be cooled, which accelerates heat dissipation and significantly increases the cooling capacity of heat sinks. Filters protect against dust, pollen, sand, dirt, salt, fire, and provide EMI shielding. They comply with various standards (NEBS, ETSI, CE, UL) and can be customized for specific applications with different materials such as foam or metal mesh.

Thermo electric coolers (Peltier elements)
Thermoelectric coolers, also known as Peltier elements, are compact and efficient heat pumps made of semiconductors. TECs can maintain a specific location, object, or space at a preselected temperature using the Peltier effect. TEMs are compact, lightweight, have no moving parts or liquids, enable extremely precise cooling, and have a very long lifespan.
