Flanged enclosure for modern sensor applications

OKW has launched Easytec, a new case series with flanges for fixing from the bottom part. This provides advantages for IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) and sensor applications.

The sturdy housing design, the high-quality material ASA + PC-FR (UV-resistant) and the optionally available sealing for protection class IP65 enable robust indoor and outdoor applications. This is also a benefit of using stainless steel screws with Torx drive. The enclosure is mounted on the bottom and is thus completely out of sight – an advantage for the look. The PCB installation can be done in the upper and / or in the lower part. Suitable self-tapping screws for PCB mounting are available as accessories.

The lower part of the EASYTEC housing has permanently integrated tabs on the short end faces. These facilitate a quick installation of the devices on the wall (landscape or upright format), but can also be used for easy mounting on pipes / round profiles. A rounded recess on the bottom part visually supports the latter application to piping systems. As usual from OKW, ESAYTEC enclosures can be modified in-house according to the individual desires of the customers, e.g. with printing, laser marking, mechanical processing for interfaces / LEDs, EMC coating on the inside of the housing, assembly and much more.
