Faster production through the delivery of custom EMC products

Background

A Dutch manufacturer of climate control solutions uses EMC filters in its products to comply with common EMC standards. Telerex supplies these filters from Schaffner.

Challenge

However, the Schaffner filters cannot be used directly in production. Some additional processes are required. For example, the cables need to be cut to size and contacts need to be crimped onto the wires. These are not difficult tasks, but they do add extra lead time, additional steps, and the need to manage these extra processes.

Solution

To minimize the number of steps for the customer, Telerex performs these processes in its Competence Center. The customer receives a ready-to-use custom product that can be directly implemented in production.
