The PowerCycling PCX Series thermoelectric coolers offer a unique construction that reduces the mechanical stresses caused by rapid mechanical expansion and contraction. This series is assembled with next generation thermoelectric materials that allows for faster ramp rates over standard thermoelectric cooler offerings. The enhanced PowerCycling PCX Series is specifically designed to meet demanding thermal cycling applications found in molecular diagnostics and point of care test devices for DNA Amplification of PCR. This is a hot market area due to COVID-19.

Features

  • Operates in high temperatures up to 120⁰C
  • Boosts cooling capacity by up to 7% over standard modules
  • Creates a temperature differential by up to 3⁰K across the module
  • Increases energy efficiency by up to 6%
  • Improves repeatability with tighter AC resistance (ACR) tolerance
  • Passed 200K Reverse Power Cycle validation testing
