ODU introduces modular push-lock in-line receptacle for tool-free cable-to-cable connections - Connectors
With the launch of the ODU-MAC® Blue-Line Push-Lock In-Line receptacle, ODU introduces a new modular concept for direct cable-to-cable connections. The connector is specifically designed for use in dynamic environments where reliability, speed, and flexibility are essential—such as in testing equipment, robotics, or medical systems.
At the heart of the design is the tool-free push-lock mechanism: cables are connected with a single press, accompanied by audible and tactile feedback for confirmation. This provides an additional layer of assurance for installers.
To prevent incorrect mating, the system supports six mechanical coding options, allowing only the correct combination to fit. This makes it suitable for applications involving multiple identical connectors within one system configuration. The Push-Lock connector can support the following modules:
- Signals
- High-voltage and power modules
- Coax
- Pneumatic and fluid couplings
- Data transmission
Its rugged housing is IP66-rated by default, offering protection against dust and water. For applications with higher protection requirements, such as medical equipment, an IP67 variant is also available.
This expansion of the Blue-Line series combines installation convenience with technical precision.
